Welcome to our page! My name is Megan Webster Wilson and I am the owner and visionary behind Forest Florist KY. I am intentional about combining our expertise with your vision to create quality designs that resonate with you.
I have always had a profound sense of wonder for nature’s beauty, and loved tapping into the creative side of my mind. When I found floral design, that’s when it all changed! I immediately fell in love. The abundant support received throughout this process has been integral to this creative passion blooming into what it has become, and I am grateful you took the time today to see what we are about.

Eliminating Waste and Creating Art:
Did you know floral foam (a common tool used by florists to create arrangements) is toxic? Not only that, but it is made of materials that never fully break down, turning into microplastics that make their way to our landfills and waterways. I found it strange when I started as a florist how common it was to use something that does so much harm to the earth, to create something inspired by it.
A large part of the inspiration behind the name “Forest Florist” comes from a desire to start that conversation. We choose a more sustainable model to do our part in caring for the Earth with this business, normalizing the intention to do so, and creating a better, healthier place to be for future generations.
